SHAPE: Cookies by cutting dough into 1/4 inch slices; make the 3 different shapes. A. For Snow White, make a diagonal cut on each side of the cookie not too deep; separate slightly to form collar and head. B. For Dopey, cut off (diagonally) top two corners of dough circle and roll each cut off piece into a ball. Place the 2 balls of dough at the edge of the fat part of the cookie (make sure dough touches the cookie) for the ears; press gently. C. For all the other Dwarfs (Bashful, Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, & Sneezy) cut off top two corners of dough in the same manor as you did Dopey. But this time place the rolled dough pieces on the INSIDE of the fat part of the cookie to make cheeks; press gently.

BAKE: Place shapes 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 350 F. for 7 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely before decorating.

DECORATE: Cookies with frosting. Reserve 1/2 cup vanilla frosting; spoon remaining vanilla frosting into small bowls. Add several drops of desired food colors to each bowl; stir to blend. Using a small plastic freezer bag for each color, snip a very small opening in 1 corner of each bag. Fill with frosting; squeeze to decorate with frosting. (Or use a decorating bag fitted with a writing tip.) Find a picture of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs and decorate cookies using vanilla, colored & chocolate frosting, and marshmallows for their noses. Start with colors and frost the hat on and vanilla for their beards. Squeeze chocolate frosting gently from bag to outline the face. Use chocolate frosting to make facial features also. After you have finished decorating the cookies take marshmallows (if large ones) cut a piece of it and place sticky side down in the middle for the nose. If you use the little marshmallows cut in half and smear with vanilla icing and place in middle for the nose. Helpful Hints: Freezing the dough before slicing can make cutting and shaping easier. The frosting works best at room temp. If the weather is warm and the frosting becomes too soft, place in the refrigerator for a short time. To make purple frosting for the Dwarfs hats, combine red, and blue food coloring until the desired color is achieved; for aqua, combine green and blue food coloring. If the marshmallow are sticky, dip the blades of the scissors in water before cutting. Holiday Tip: To use cookies as Christmas tree ornaments, before baking, make a hole in top of each cookie with a drinking straw before cooking. Bake as directed in recipe. Reshape holes with straw after baking. After cookies are decorated, insert a 10-inch piece of ribbon through hole of each cookie, tie ribbon.
